Mission's Program
The Altoona Bible Church is focused on getting the gospel out to every individual by every means possible: Radio, Television Broadcasts, On Demand Podcasts and YouTube services, Live Streaming services to FaceBook, Website, and personal evangelizing along with supported missionaries and organizations regionally and globally. The gospel is the power of God unto Salvation! (Romans 1:16) ABC has had a missionary conference every year since 1952 in which missionaries from around the world share with us what God is doing through them. Altoona Bible Church even has a separate Missionary Board that organizes and maintains the mission’s outreach of the church.
Missionay Support and Annual Conference
The Altoona Bible Church supports a number of Grace missionaries and organizations both regionally and globally. Each presents a clear gospel, focusing on salvation by faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for each of us. His death, burial, and resurrection is the means to this life-transforming gift of eternal life, which we each can have by God’s grace through faith. Our annual Missionary conference usually occurs in the Spring and starts on a Saturday night and ends the following Wednesday night. So much goes on at this event… Testimonies, challenging field reports, fellowship, worship, gym and game nights, small group interaction, and special Sunday School and Jr. Church fun for the kids.
LMOP – Local Missions Outreach Projects – is an established group of Altoona Bible Church individuals who want to be engaged in reaching the lost for Jesus Christ. LMOP provides opportunities to the assembly for service and outreach within our local church and community. We are supported and overseen by the ABC Missionary Board. LMOP welcomes anyone to serve the Lord while enjoying Christian fellowship during different activities throughout the year, such as the Absolutely Free Car Wash and Christmas Parade, which get the gospel out in unique and impacting ways where people are.
Online, On the air, On Demand. Yes we have services available for you to watch live, to review, to catch up if you missed attending, and to see what we are all about. We also produce “Joy in the Morning”, a Sunday Morning wakeup encouragement program as you prepare to head off to Church. One of our Sunday School Teachers also produces a podcast that you might enjoy. We would love for you to join us on Sunday Morning or Wednesday night, but if you cannot, then we encourage you to get yourself to a Bible-believing, God-honoring church!

God’s Word presents one message for Salvation in this present day. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Him. If you are not sure, click on the image to the left and see what God’s Word has to say about this question “Where will you spend eternity, Heaven or Hell?” Do you have this free gift of Salvation? If not, I challenge you to take a minute and see what God has done. If you are one of His children (which is by faith in Christ Jesus), then let’s get about our Father’s business. There is a world, a city, a neighborhood, a family, a friend, a someone, that needs the Love of Christ. Let’s be the Ambassadors for Christ that we each are to be.
