What to Expect: Our Services
There are services for all ages. Sunday School for adults and children begins at 9:30 AM. From 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM when the Morning Worship Service begins, the Fellowship Center is a busy place with lots of conversation, coffee and tea.
During the Morning Worship service, a junior church is provided for children from kindergarten through sixth grade. To re-energize in the things of the Lord, we also have our mid-week prayer and Bible Study service on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM.
Child Care
A Supervised Nursery is available for all services. Speak to an Usher upon arrival to assist you with your needs.
Curious about what our services are like?
Our worship service opens with prayer and a time of musical worship led by one of our music worship leaders. Hymns, worship songs, the Choir, special groups, soloists, instrumentalists, and ensembles all grace the typical worship experience. Music has always been important at Altoona Bible Church and the Lord has blessed ABC with much talent. Up front, the Choir will be seated, with pianists and organists playing two mini grand pianos and a Hammond organ. Guitar, flute, and brass adorn the music worship from time to time.
Each service has a special presentation by the choir and one or two special numbers by vocal and/or instrumental musicians which range from traditional to contemporary in nature. The congregational singing is a balanced mix of traditional Hymn music with praise and worship music led by a music worship leader using the large screens at the front of the auditorium.
Pastor Aaron J. Harris teaches during the Bible portion of the Morning Service. Using both projection screens and active engagement in the Word of God, Pastor Aaron preaches Spirit-filled messages that, as the Word of God says, “effectually worketh also in you that believe.”

Not able to join us in person?
The Altoona Bible Church broadcasts its services live via multiple radio stations and at set times through the week by television to a central Pennsylvania audience. All services are also streamed live on Facebook and available on demand on the Website, ABC Facebook page and on our YouTube Channel worldwide.
