Who we are?
LMOP is an established group of the Altoona Bible Church. We provide opportunities, to the assembly, for service and outreach, within our local church and community. We are supported and overseen by the Missionary Board.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Altoona Bible Church Local Missions Outreach Program (ABC LMOP) is to show Christ’s love by serving our local church and community just as our Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ, served and loved us through His death, burial, and resurrection (2 Cor.1:3-4). As believers we are to be living examples of Him, to be used for His purpose, and be a beacon of light in a lost world. (2 Cor. 2:1-6)
Projects
We have many projects that we do. Some come and go, and others become a reocurring event. Here are some but not limited to… Free Fall Festival, Absolutely Free Car Wash, ministring at assisted living homes, church clean ups, door-to-door witnessing, helping people in the church with needs such as yard clean up, Christmas parade, and more. Our opportunites keep growing.
