How to Give to the Ministries of the
Altoona Bible Church
We would love for you to join us for Worship at any of our services. Sunday School for adults and children begins at 9:30 AM. Our Morning Worship Service begins at 10:45 AM. Wednesday night we have prayer and Bible study at 7:00 PM.
But if you cannot attend a service and would like to give a monetary gift to the
Altoona Bible Church, we have four ways that you can give:
Credit Card, Electronic Bank transfer, Bill Pay and by Check
Altoona Bible Church has introduced a New Online Giving platform to make it easier for you to give to your church, the Altoona Bible Church.
You can give right here on the web by Credit Card and/or by Electronic Bank Transfer. Credit Card giving does incur a percentage transaction fee. See note at right.
You can give a quick gift with no login or set up a giving account to save your giving information or set up recurring gifts. Check out the “How to Give Online” video at the bottom of the page.
There are two other ways that you can give to the Altoona Bible Church, and these have no fees associated with them.
- Set up “Bill Pay” through your personal Bank. A number of individuals in our assembly already have their regular giving set up this way. The Bank cuts a check in the amount you designate from your checking account and sends it when you want each month to the Church. It is a free service of most Banks. Contact your Bank. They will help you set it up. All you typically need is the address and phone number of the Altoona Bible Church.
- You can Write a Check and Mail it to the Altoona Bible Church. It’s Old School!!! But effective and no fees! But it will cost you a stamp.
Notes About Credit Card and Electronic Bank Transfers:
Both Credit Card and Electronic Bank Transfer options have a $0.30 flat fee per transaction taken out before the donation reaches the Church.
As you are probably aware, Credit Card transactions also have a percentage fee taken out of the donation by the transaction service company before it reaches the church. The percentage transaction fee is 2.15%, the smallest of which we are aware. This is the cost of providing the convenience of this method of giving. It is quick and easy to set up.
Electronic Bank transfers do not incur any percentage fees taken out. So the full value of your gift will come to the Altoona Bible Church minus the $0.30 fee. However, the setup process takes several verification steps, so takes a little time to set up. Once it is set up though, it is as fast as credit card, with no percentage fee.
